Goldline Mining Ghana Limited continues its commitment to corporate social responsibility with a substantial donation to support the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) in Kumasi. The company presented essential building materials to the headquarters of the Central Command of the Ghana Armed Forces in Kumasi.

The donated building materials include:

  • 300 bags of cement
  • Two tonnes of iron rods

The purpose of this generous contribution is to aid the military command in the construction of a 20-bedroom self-contained accommodation. The Central Command holds a vital role in overseeing the command, control, and administration of all military units in the Ashanti, Ahafo, Bono, and Bono-East Regions.

The donation is a manifestation of Goldline Mining Ghana Limited’s corporate social responsibility and the fulfillment of a promise made to GAF after they sought assistance from the company.

Receiving the materials on behalf of Brigadier General J. A. Aphour, the General Officer Commanding the Central Command, Colonel Emmanuel Gyadu, Command Operation Officer, emphasized the necessity of the construction project to improve accommodation conditions at the barracks. He expressed gratitude to the company for its act of benevolence and urged other philanthropic agencies and individuals to contribute towards the successful completion of the project within a year.
